I work with a hospitality property that rents cabins on a horse ranch in texas. We do get some traffic for users in other countries and we have had visitors and inquiries from places in Europe and Canada, but what i want to know is what can we do help increase our visibility in these countries either through SEO tactics or even paid listings.

Sorry for the late reply to your post. If you want to target potential clients from other countries, you can set up PPC campaigns based on region. That way your ads are shown specifically to users in the countries you are targeting.
Consider things like regional spelling and jargon when choosing keywords, creating ads or optimizing pages for other countries. For example, "lodging" is more widely used in the U.S. while "accommodation" is more common in Europe and Australasia. "Hiking" in the U.S. is known as "bushwalking" in Australia and "tramping" in New Zealand.
You can set up specific landing pages for visitors from specific countries, either for traditional SEO or for your PPC campaign. Good luck!
