Hi,

I'm interested in tracking ROAS on Yahoo Search, but would rather not pay for their more advanced tracking services. I'm happy with the solution that Google provides as they report on conversion AND total dollar amount.

Does anyone know of a way to track Yahoo search campaigns on a ROAS level (revenue/cost) for free? We have an analytics package that could do it, but I'm looking for another solution.

Let me know when you can.

Thanks.

Adam

Build your own. Pass the keywords, and work backwards. Very easy to do.

Right, get it. We actually do this...pass the kw in the url. But this only looks at single session transactions (and involves me doing a vlookup in excel to match up the financials with the keyword).

What about tapping into the google and yahoo API's? Is that a headache for a medium sized advertiser to take on? Thoughts?

Yahoo have Search Optimizer which can track ROAS to the keyword level. It's also a bid management tool and it's free for some of their advertisers. Works both in UK and US

Take a look at AdWatch this can calculate your ROAS.
It's not free but it's not expensive. Saves me the monthly subscription easily.
