Did your Minimum CPC just spike up too?

Hi - I'm new to the forum and glad to be here. The last couple of days, dozens of my keywords became inactive and Google asked to me pay $5.00 a click for the keywords or they would remain inactive. Some of my keywords are misspellings, so I could see how they might see those as irreverent. But some of the keywords they are requiring me to bid higher on, I think are optimized pretty good. In the case of one of my keywords, which has a 3.6% CTR, I was paying .30 cents on and now they insist I pay at least 5 bucks to make it active again? They also give me the option to “increase quality of bid” but I think the ad is optimized as well as it could be (keywords, in the title, etc). I’m curious if this is going to be a new thing to see on my keywords every time I check my account for the first time every day? Anybody else experiencing this and have any ideas of any solutions?
