am not from that area, but in the past I submitted sites to limeysearch, splut, 192directory, & lifestyle.co.uk
I think I have came across ukdirectory.co.uk in serps a number of times as well
Also look for directories for the various subdivisions and list: (eg. englandsportal.com for England, or a Scottish directory if that is where you are located.) And the same holds true for various UK counties and/or cities. Chances are there are some local directories that cover your location.
