country targeting vs .com

Hi,
Another begginers question here... If I want my ads to appear on google.com do I have to choose targeting to "All countries" or does it shows automatically (but not so often) on the google.com when I set a campaign for example targeted for google.co.uk?

Countries are determined by the IP address and where you land them is your choice. We are not discussing the impact of a country specific domain extension on an organic result for that country.

The countries you pick will determine who is shown the ad in the PPC results.

This is generally used for people who do not have the ability to do business with some countries.
