As an inveterate forum freak, it's nice to see a new forum not (yet) characterised by

1) arrogance/elitism
2) childishness
3) insularity, or
4) moribundance (?)

This is great. Keep it coming!

The credit goes to Danny Sullivan who put a lot of thought into how the forums would work and to the moderators who shared these ideas. they have put in a lot of effort to set the tone.

These forums are definitely not your typical online free-for-all, and I know the moderators intend for it to stay that way.

(By the way, I'm not actually one of the moderators who set the tone so I'm not claiming credit -- I'm more of a behind-the-scenes observer)

the best part of this forum is the lack of judgemental tone or voice which appear at many other forums.

also there is an absurd amount of experience between all the people who post here.

also a great signal to noise ratio so far and that is probably the single hardest thing to keep
