Some of you might find this just published article from Entrepreneur (http://www.entrepreneur.com/Magazines/Copy_of_MA_SegArticle/0,4453,316408----1-,00.html) of interest. It explains SEO for the lay person. It does include a section about when to ask a professional for help. :)

And our own Nacho is quoted in the article. Way to go, Nacho!

BTW, the author of the article, Cat Seda, will be speaking at SES in San Jose next week. Highly recommended if you've never seen her speak.

The article did a good job of outlining basics for a beginner. I would have liked to have seen a few "how to's", such as the section on not using redirects, I think it would have been best to offer an answer on what to do as well.

Cat Seda also did a very good job on her book named Search Engine Advertising : Buying Your Way to the Top to Increase Sales (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0735713995/).

Thank you so much, Chris!! :)

Here is a print version (http://www.ihispanic.com/sewf/Entrepreneur%20Magazine%20August%202004%20-%20In%20the%20Click%20by%20Catherine%20Seda.pdf) of the story in Entrepreneur Magazine August 2004 print.

Cat Seda also did a very good job on her book named Search Engine Advertising : Buying Your Way to the Top to Increase Sales.
Unfortunately, the editor did not want to mention her book in the article. It's a great book and Catherine Seda (http://www.sedacommunication.com/) is one of the best speakers from the conference. I highly recommend attending her presentations at SES San Jose!
