AdWords and AdSence services?

As an advertiser AdWords allows you to appear in three major areas:
1. Google.com and it's other country version like Google.es etc
2. Google search partners
3. Google content partners (that are using AdSense)
The first two send traffic from actual searchs, while content is done through people visiting a site however they get there and then seeing an ad box and clicking on it.
The ads selected are generally derived from the content on the page and thus it can be argued are relevant to the terms.
AdSense by itself is something you as a publisher/website owner can add to your pages to generate income.
