Hi Samemee,
are you looking for paid or free help?
Thanks

Both. I would like to use free submission. However, I can include paid submissions if they can produce good results. Any suggestion is appreciated.

Submission doesn't help with rankings, and it isn't necessary - all the search engines find sites through links.
You have to optimize the site. Read through the forums and the tutorials over at the main SEW site. They've been up a while but they still cover all the basics very well.

samemee - The only paid submission program out there is Yahoo's Search Submit. See my comments on this thread about it...

...if you're using Search Submit because you think it will improve your rankings, it won't. Pages that won't rank without it won't rank with it. The only good reason I can think of for using the program is for seasonal pages, or pages that change often, where you'd want to get very quick inclusion for new content. Again, with Yahoo's increased reliance on off-page factors, I don't know how helpful this will be.
I would follow Marcia's advice and do some reading.

imho, Submission will not help much. You have to optimise your site(like meta keywords, content, links etc.)

Hi Samemee
Your site needs optimization. The very step is to look if your site is content rich. Then go for directory submission, its important here to choose the best category that match with the theme of your website.
Next, go for link building. Again there are certain parameters for this.
What is your pr?
Thanks

Thanks for your comments. I really appreciate it. My pr is 3 on Google.
Any resource or comment on the website itself will be appreciated.

Hi Samemee
So, your pr is 3. You need more external links for your website but make sure you link to quality websites and theme based sites only. I hope you are aware of other factors important in this regard?
Thanks

I am new on this forum.
u should know few things which are very common to increase ur rank and position -
1. good content and keyword density.
2. Target a particular page for a particular keyword for optmization.
3. Increase your inbound links with higher PR sites and it should be related to your site stream.
4. Apart from Title and Meta tags, use Anchor text and Alt tag. They really work for positioning.
5. Put some dynamic content or such content which needs to update regularly.
etc.
There are a lot of more, but try these things.

Hi Samemee
Have you heard about dynamic url? Those which contains ?,$,% etc. These web pages are created when the information is needed to be changed frequently. For Instance, news related website. Search engines do not index these urls hence the content.

ohh, sorry, I didn't mean that dynamic content.
I wanted to say such content which needs to update after every interval, like some news, blogs, pic, etc. if spiders find that there is not any updation on site, then spider indexes these type of sites, after a long time, like google indexes these types of sites at the time of Google dancing. so in this case we can see high fluctuation in search engine position.
