Hi everyone :)

Anyone else fail??? I got 73 points and am brokenhearted - !

I do get nervous taking tests

Any takes on this test - to be honest I think it's way better than the Google test as at least one is given another chance.

Hi Britishchap,

No - I haven't seen the test. Their criteria specifically excludes non US businesses.

Is the Ambassador Program open to individuals and businesses operating outside of the U.S.?
Unfortunately, the Yahoo! Search Marketing Ambassador program is only open to individuals and businesses operating in the United States or Canada at this time. However, we do hope to expand the program to additional countries in the future.

And here was I mistakenly believing for the past 10 years or so that the World Wide Web was, well, World Wide.

Hiya Mate - It is a pain believe me - this from a guy that has been winging it throughout life.

Has the www got something against Oz??? My daughter lives in Perth and I was trying like crazy to buy her a camera online (in Oz) but no joy - I ended up buying it from Best Buy and will mail it to her :confused:

I failed the bloody test again! I have to let you know I'm not illiterate or anything I just fail tests!

My wife asked me why I was sweating and upset a few nights back and I told her I had failed again :(

Now if I pass I have sworn I will get a Yahoo! tattoo on my chest - no kidding

David

https://approval.myaffiliateprogram.com/terms.htm
C. Website/Business Eligibility: An application will be automatically rejected if it is submitted from an entity that has a web site with any of the following content or which engages in any of the following activities:

* Promotes discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age
* Promotes sexually explicit materials
* Promotes violence
* Promotes unlawful activities
* Violates intellectual property rights
* Engages in Unsolicited Bulk Emailing (also known as spam )
* Contains any use of the Yahoo!, including its affiliated entities, trademarks, names and/or associated logos

so in theory, you can't have a picture of the tatoo on your site...seems sorta daft of Yahoo! for them not to allow the memebers to say we will market your site on Yahoo! (with a Yahoo! logo)

compare to the Google AdSense for search where Google ALWAYS wants their logo next to the search box.

.... so in theory I can get a Google tattoo??

I prefer Yahoo! though :eek:

I will do this though - there is a tattoo service in Charlotte that can replicate the Y! logo exactly

I like Yahoo! Just keep failing the test.......

I have until the end of the month!

This bet is going to backfire on me....

There are 11 people betting I don't pass the Y! test :(

If I keep failing I get the Yahoo! tattoo on my right cheek :eek:

There is even a person in Calif that has a bet on and wants legal proof that I get a "real" Y! tattoo so I have a question - besides flying back to California to prove it as I promised can I get my "cheek" notarized?????

This is all getting too much.

The last test caught me out as the $20 "fee" had been dropped
