I have recently hired a content writer and want to gain much more exposure through the content he writes. All articles contain our own copyright information with links back to our site....

I was thinking of submitting these articles to article websites and blog feeds. Is this the best place to use these artices for valuable backlink and exposure?

You could do that.

However what I would do if he's writing articles for you, you ought to publish these on your site as this would increase content, plus this is all unique content as well which SE's love. This will enable the spiders to continue coming back to the site and crawl the new pages.

Then what you can do is create a RSS feed using the articles, and get exposure that way.

There are sites out there which allow you to submit articles as well, this is a great way of link building.

Hope that helps

Do you have a list of quality sites which allow you to submit articles for link popularity?

One way to distribute articles quickly is to use a service like iSnare.com or SubmitYourArticle.com.

You can also submit them manually to sites that want them. DevShed are generally looking for articles. And there's the standard article sites like EzineArticles.com, IdeaMarketers.com...etc.

Articlesrss.com actually turns your articles into RSS feeds and you can keep track of how many people subscribe to your feeds and what they are using to subscribe through your control panel.
