It appears that for the past couple of days - Yahoo has either been experimenting with a new DATACENTER with completely different
Algorithms - with different RELEVANCY SERPs - Or they are doing a version of Yahoo Dance (they seem to imitate Google in every way now)

____________________________________________-

Suprisingly - doing a query for "search engine optimization"

and another one for "search engines" - there appeared our site which has never really been on Yahoo nor ever submitted to them

ON THE SECOND PAGE OF THEIR SERPS for BOTH TERMS

along with completely new web pages included in the SERPs form previous searches going back Weeks ago....

After doing about 30 other FAMILIAR and watched / tracked searches - the same new SERPs appeared!!

It seems - that that datacenter appears every one hour then disappears - replaced by other that are giving more expected results based on previous searches.

keeping a link to that datacenter will give the following when it disappears

Warning: fopen("/home/searchgu/public_html/pagecache/KUDJiEYtKgYh/search.yahoo.com/search?p=search+engines&ei=UTF-8&cop=mss&xargs=02u3hs9yoaKCstSjWzAFC1QsyyctRDWzMFBxBRAAaiEA ==&pstart=6&fr=fp-tab-web-t&b=21", "r") - No such file or directory in /home/searchgu/public_html/pagecache/display.php on line 6
Unable to open the input file.

However - will give the SERPs when it is available again.

Noticed that same EXACT pattern when Yahoo was leaving Google and giving TRANSITIONAL - back and forth Changes....

SOMETHING MAY BE CHANGING WITH YAHOO IMMINENTLY - depending on whether this IS in fact an experiment

Yahoo rotates things in all the time. Not necessarily a dance.

Even without using their PPI service,

Yahoo's technology has evolved to the point where moderate to high
Web-Ranked sites are now being re-spidered every 48 to 72 hours...

The PPI may now only be an asset to brand new sites that need an immediate push.
