Has anyone noticed that now in Google under a listing they offer links from the indexed page. For example if you search for a site it displays the title, and short description and then under the description there are around 4 or 5 links from the homepage of the above site. Does anyone know when this started or what this is called. Try searching for amazon and you will see what I mean.

Thanks for the help,

Mike

It's a new UI "enhancement" they are trying out. I've seen horizontal and vertical versions. They seem to be picking up anchor text from the listed page (presumably the most "important" ones) and listing the links as a "mini-sitemap". Been going on a few weeks now

Seems to be brand name searches - perhaps based on a manually compiled list?

I've seen it on non-brand searches, and I've seen it where others didn't. I think it a personal thing, cookies, or IP driven
