I can't see any positive use for it, just enables worthless "add-ons" I've no time for including the present curse of the net, "Ad Sense".
No script enabled, and proud of it ;-)

i like it for having pages load at a certain predefined size. also, unfortunate as it may be, too many web sites use it for all sorts of stuff that i feel like i have to have it turned on so that i dont miss out.
We have a client who had 2 HUGE dropdown menus which added hundreds of lines of code. We externalized these via JS and the page size dropped dramatically which seemed to help improve spidering and in the end rankings.
I also have seen a JS floating around that helps you created dynamic drop down navigation, but the links remain static href links. Its pretty cool cause you get the nice look of a JS dropdown menu but it is spiderable.
