Dear all,

Looking for honest feedback over our desktop search application Hebbian Recall 1.0 based on activation based ranking which simulates human memory function of remembering and forgetting.

In a way Hebbian Recall is a digital approximation of your real memory towards consumed information, thus a few days require to build up your ranking scores ( before that, search will be based only on keyword matching and you won’t see any difference from other search tools around).

Free download is here: http://www.hebbian.com/downloads/home.htm

For best results consider review our “Tips & Tricks” section at our website.

Thanks in advance to all comments and suggestions. Will answer all questions.

DaveN,

Point is taken. Activation Ranking is agnostic to underlying technology (i.e Indexing, OS, file system and etc.). It is only a question of manpower to implement a Unix version.

From the feedback received , there is more interest in a list of basic functions rather then in conceptual explanation. Here we go.

With HR1.0 you can:

1) Search for ANY file on your hard drive(s) by keyword or metadata (date of creation, file type and etc.)
2) Search, rank and preview your extended (versioned) IE web history
3) Search, rank and preview Microsoft Office suite files and e-mails
4) Search for information WITHOUT textual clues

Thank you in advance for your additional comments.
