Link pages from various hosted domains

I have a large number of domain names registered, but sitting idle. I was wondering if it would be worthwhile creating a generic "links" page as has been mentioned here and use these domains as links to other active sites. If so, would there be any advice on how to build the page?

I'm new to all this - it's fascinating and frustrating, I have to say!!

if one were to do such an activity one would want to:

register the domain via proxy
host each domain on a different IP C block address
build enough unique content on each site to get them listed in various directories and acquire links from other related sites

most webmasers probably do not need to do that though and would be better off focusing their energies on a single domain
