I am in charge of uploading keywords for my company's website. I was wondering if there was a fast way of uploading a lot of keywords so that they have their own url and specific ad? Please let me know, this would be a big timesaver.

sure, do you have the data in excel or something like that?
just do
keyword **bid price** URL
keyword2 **bid price** URL2
keyword3 **bid price** URL3
keyword4 **bid price** URL4
one per line
I think it allows you to group up to a few thousand terms per group. with dynamic keyword insertion the search terms / keywords can also help drive the ad copy if you would like to make ad copy somewhat match the terms.

MarketingGirl, the info that seobook posted regarding the '**' format is right on target (and no suprise there!). ;)
You'll find more info on this subject in the "Posting New Keywords and CPC/URL Values' section on the following page from the AdWords Help Center:

Google does have a bulk upload sheet. If you have an ad rep they can give it to you.
If not let me know and perhaps I can get one to get in touch.

AussieWebmaster . . . can you think of anything that might have to change with the bulk upload spreadsheet to accomodate the upcoming changes to the keyword state and the new Quality Score system?
Thanks in anticipation.

Well the bulk upload sheets do not have "states" - they do have type (exact...broad)...

What are "bulk uploading sheets"? Is that just the excel spreadsheet format, or are you talking about something else? If you are talking about something else, can you let me know where to get the sheets?

Make sure you have all the special URL codes you may be using for tracking.
If you are planning to use high end tracking software like Urchin, or Dare I say Yahoo's Search Marketing tool, or if you are going to use click fraud tools all of these will ask you to append a bit of info at the end of each of your URL's.
So since you're uploading all these keywords and links now is a good time to get all the tracking info in order.
PS: one gotchya is that Google limits the number of characters you can have in a URL string. AWR can tell you what that is exactly, but I know I have exceeded this limit a few times with longer keywords putting me over the top.
Cheers,

There is a spreadsheet that Google has formatted for each area that is needed... but a simple spreadsheet can be used too.
