Helloo

one of my sites are dropped from google when i try to search in google "www.site.com"

can i ask, what can be the reason of this.

1. penalty
2. hitjacking
3. long time problems with host and dns
4.
5.

i don't sure, but it may be

1. duplicate content filter ??????
2.
3.

pls add, what other reasons you know, when trying to search www.site.com give u "sorry, no information"

but site:site.com give u 1-50 000 results

thx

When you do a "www.site.com" search do you get the following line:-

If the URL is valid, try visiting that web page by clicking on the following link: www.site.com

If you do then it is normally the case the Google does not know about your url (I know it might seem crazy if it has been listed before - but do a search for something like "www.vnrnvkjrnnrken.com and you will get the line)

If you do not get that line it tends to be a removal. (Do a search for a known banned site and you dont get that line)

Now why does Google not know about your sites homepage is a different question.

Hopefully if yours is the first senario then things will improve in time.

Isn't this just all related to the current prob Google has though.

I am hoping that it is only major worry time once you dont get the line:-

If the URL is valid, try visiting that web page by clicking on the following link: www.site.com

As I posted elsewhere - sometimes Google goes backwards before going forwards - I also wonder if the total removal of the non-www and www might not be such a bad thing - eg the slate is wiped clean and G can start again (to a degree)

Adding to the above line theory - when you have the line you can still do a backlink check and get results and still do a site search and get results - when you dont get that line the backlinks, and site check returns no result and the page is PR0 straight away!

Obv a deep deep crawl maybe needed to fix the above problems but G may be holding back on a deep crawl as per other things noted in your blog.

Not sure what the rules here regarding posting urls etc - will read up. (If wrong please delete)

Notice your example in your blog of a **certain hosting site** and the fact at the time of your blog entry for non-www you got url only and for www you got full title/description etc.

This site has gone on a further stage now to as if the site is not known by Google.

Edit reason (Sorry Homepage not known rather than site - some pages of the site are recently cached (Oops folks if you are at work due to the content of the Kinghost site dont look at the cache :))

No - it was the example from the Blog - I will delete. The homepage content is just text anyway (Unless you are seeing different) - Did not realise the content of the site until my edit on my post above.

Dont flame me thanks. :)

Sorry, no information is available for the URL www.site.com

* If the URL is valid, try visiting that web page by clicking on the following link: www.site.com
* Find web pages from the site www.site.com
* Find web pages that contain the term "www.site.com"

Well during Bourbon I saw sites that went that way on some dcs (Not all) and came back with there non-www and www fixed :) - This however happened relatively quickly between disappearance and return - days.

However, I did not see all dcs have the no-listing at the same time which seems to have happened for a few sites I monitor.

I made a trial and found your site is listed on google.

when searching for www.site.com that was the result:

SITE Services, Inc - Home - Check out our spin track semiconductor ...
Site Map: site.com - Semiconductor equipment for silicon wafer fabrication.
Links to information on photolithography, Organic Light Emitting Diodes OLED, ...
www.site.com/

Also, it appears in the first page when trying these keywords as an examples:
" Semiconductor equipment silicon wafer "

Hope that was what you mean:)

sue i think they are using Site.com as an example not the real site :)

sorry about the hosting company one ... i forgot i used them has an example ..lol

what tends to happen if you get a hand ban when you search of your url you get :

Sorry, no information is available for the URL (domain name) <--- NO link

* Find web pages from the site (domain name) <--- these are links
* Find web pages that contain the term (domain name) <--- these are links

if you click on the site link you get :

Your search - site:(domain name) - did not match any documents.

Suggestions:

- Make sure all words are spelled correctly.
- Try different keywords.
- Try more general keywords

but when you click on the contains

you get a list of all the sites that contain the url

if thats the case... walk away from the domain your done ...lol

Yep - I agree in that senario the domain is a gonna.

But in the example of that hosting company (eek) and Web Position and of the like - Is that a Gonna or not I wonder.

Actually Web Position is not a very good example.

However, the example stands for the other sites who have the problem.

Do this search in Google:-

site:www.dental.am www.dental.am

Notice that your sites homepage is displayed (well where I am looking) in second place.

Now why oh why does it not return in the "www.dental.am" search.

Anyone got any thoughts ?

Confused or what. (And from those who know me from WMW - Stressed :))

*Anyone got any thoughts?*

May have been pinged.

I took a look at the site, it looks like a well camouflaged pharma site to me, Y shows 83,000 links, that's a lot of interest in an Armenian health site ;-)

DayoUK

OK, not really looked at the site in great depth.

How about the fact that if you do a search for the domain name google says it does not exist - however, it does exist in the index.

glengara

*however, it does exist in the index.*

Well I tried this from the home page using quotes "Good posture, a phone headset and frequent breaks " and no results were returned.

Dear glengara

if u try to search from main page "Good posture, a phone headset and frequent breaks" without quotes u will find more than 500 pages.

but if u need more clear result .. pls look above . there is link "advanced search", go there [ http://www.dental.am/search/index.php ] and try ur search. there are 4 radio buttons, i hope u can find how to use this buttons.

and pls don't add quotes to ur search :-)
good luck

sorry for offtop.

btw .. i don't think that search engine work can cause *however, it does exist in the google index.* problem.

*can u explain what u mean?*

I don't think the content is original , and is just there to "mask" the Pharma ads.

The problem is the illness and the drugs don't match up, so you have viagra ads on a diabetes page ;-)

HI Alexo

Don't you think its kind of strange to post in a public forum and then ask people not to post responses unless they are the kind you like to hear???

IMO you can control your own posts only. Others will post what they feel is appropriate.
