Yes it is true, our ads are being run on a website that blatantly uses incentives for click throughs.

www.jackpot.com
Homepage:

"Help us make Jackpot.com even better! By answering these survey questions you're helping us build Jackpot the way YOU want, with better prizes, more relevant offers, and more fun!"

Then they list offers like:
Win instant cash - up to $25,000!
Claim your Guaranteed cash prize
Get a FREE $10,000,000 entry from iWON!

and many many more. Each incentive offer has radio buttons for yes and no.
Click on yes and you are hit with a barrage of pop ups, unders and even auto downloads.

If you complete the form clicking yes or no to each incentive offer and then submit the form you get a "jackpot" page which then displays Overtures ads.

I have searched through overture to find their policy anything on ads being run on incentive based sites like this but cant find anything. Perhaps it's in the fine print of the account set up policy.

At any rate, we are loosing thousands to this site each month. What is Overture doing about it? Our rep says, either take all the traffic or take none of it.

What are you doing about this situation?

Aren't these sites part of Overture's content network? If so, you can opt out of content. That's what I would do if I were you.

And thanks for the heads up on this - I'll have to keep an eye on our stats to make sure we don't get hit with clicks from stuff like this.

I recently randomly had a term that got about a click every other month send me over 100 overture content clicks in under a week.

I have not seen much of that sort of activity until that one keyword phrase did that about a couple weeks ago.
