Hi everyone,
Please give a warm welcome to our Official AdSenseRep, who has graciously given some of their time to answer any questions and tackle comments on Google's ad publishing network, and is eagerly looking forward to your feedback on AdSense.
Please be considerate of course, and let the discussion begin!
ASR, I just wanted to let you know I'm impressed by the 'follow-up' email I just received from AdSense, as I was only accepted a week ago, and just haven't implemented my code yet, so of course the emaill offered help and suggestions for me to get rolling. good customer service.
now... I have to go put that on, if you'll excuse me:)

Hi AdSenseRep, lately there are reports that people are seeing Overture content ads appearing in Google link: searches for various domains. Does Google have plans to also index AdSense ads as backlinks for AdWords advertisers?

Thanks for the warm welcome! It's wonderful to hear that AdSense has worked well for many of you. I'm very excited to be here :)
A little about myself- I've been with Google for a little over 1 year working as a user advocate. My goals as AdSenseRep are to provide a helpful resource to you as well as relay your feedback to the rest of the AdSense team. After all, you are what makes AdSense!
What you should expect from me is very similar to the expectations that AdWordsRep and GmailRep have already posted in their respective forums:
* I may not have the time to respond to all of your questions since I also have a "day job." Also, I hope that you'll see me not as THE resource for AdSense, but simply as another helpful forum member. As a result, you may notice that I'll wait to give others a chance to respond to a question before I post.
* Any specific questions you have about your account will be answered much more quickly if you email adsense-support@google.com rather than wait for me to check the forums :-) Any technical problems such as irrelevant ads or public service ads should be directed to adsense-tech@google.com.
* I won't be able to answer any questions regarding the future of AdSense, Google's business model, etc. especially due to the fact that Google is in a quiet period.
* I am more than happy to pass your feedback along to the AdSense team. You may understand my reluctance to get involved in any heated discussions, but please feel free to have them! After all, a little healthy debate is good for everyone, and it keeps the forum interesting!
I'll try to get to some of your specific questions throughout the week. I'm playing a bit of catch-up, so hopefully you can forgive the slowness.
Looking forward to getting to know you all!
Kind regards,
ASR

Bernard- regarding your question, offering AdWords advertisers the ability to see what ads their pages appear on is definitely a common feature request. I can say that we currently don't have plans to offer this anytime soon, but we're looking into it.

Thanks ASR. When I asked the question, I was thinking about whether Google was planning to give AdWords advertisers SEO/link pop benefits for their paid ads distributed through AdSense partners more so than whether the link: search might reveal which AdSense partners are syndicating their ads.
