The Google entry for the site http://www.babbnet.com/ relates to the previous version which was replaced a few months ago. The new version is the first site I've made using a custom-built content management system (work in progress) and I'm wondering if there's anything I've done which might be causing this. I was under the impression Google should pick up changes within a month?

Thanks,
Geoff

See if you can get some links into it. That will usually prompt a crawl of the root pages.

But surely it's already in Google so it should simply be recrawled every so often?

It will get crawled periodically but that will depend on your PageRank as determined by Google. You are currently in Google but with a PR of 0 so it may take 2-3 months to update the content within Google's database. If you were to work on getting external links such as a DMOZ listing and a few others, you would effectively raise your PR and thus your crawl schedule. The Higher your PR, the more frequent the visits from Googlebot will be.
