I overheard someone talking about big news today or recently involving google and latin american search engines or something in that regard. Does anyone have an idea what this may be as I only heard the above?

You may have heard the news about Univision.com and Google Partner Focusing on Search in Spanish (http://www.seroundtable.com/archives/002133.html).

I am also trying to do some research on Terespondo and I have been having problems finding who their executive officers are and any other contact information. Do you have any idea where I could find such information?

On TeRespondo, I reported news (http://www.seroundtable.com/archives/001821.html) on the Yahoo! deal back on April 18, 2005, and recently updated (http://www.seroundtable.com/archives/002080.html) more about it. I made contact to do an interview with their chief executives Juan Diego Calle and Daniel Echavarria, which both accepted so keep an eye out for that on the SERoundtable. I'm looking to hear more fresh stuff on that deal which to me is the biggest so far this year for our SEM industry in Latin America.

Great post Nacho. It looks like the Hispanic market is set for a lot of growth soon. You must be loving it.

Thanks John! Loving it? This year is like Hispanic Fest for the search engines! :D (that's the icon for BIG SMILE - not big grin).
Here is an update of the Univision / Google partnership:

The deal just went live today! Don't forget to join the thread (http://forums.searchenginewatch.com/showthread.php?t=6549) for follow up discussion.
