Hi all,
I was just wondering what would it take to get a page rank of 10 on google? How many in-bound links and how many hits per day?
just curious

A quick search at Google (http://www.google.com/search?biw=1259&hl=en&q=pageRank+10) reveals this (http://www.searchenginegenie.com/pagerank-10-sites.htm) from searchenginegenie (top of list):
Keio University (http://www.keio.ac.jp/) PR10 3,470 backlinks (doesn't show on my toolbar)
Google (http://www.google.com/) Search PR10 3,030,000 backlinks (doesn't show on my toolbar)
and a weird one:
A9 Amazon toolbar (http://toolbar.a9.com/) PR10 140 backlinks(shows as PR9 now)
Backlink # in higher now. The two that do not show on toolbar check out with a PR checker. Anybody know why some sites don't show on the toolbar, but do with a checker?
I don't think the # of hits has anything to do with toolbar PR.

i became curious after seeing this:
StatCounter (http://www.google.com/search?biw=1003&hl=en&q=link%3A+www.statcounter.com)

statcounter gets all those links from their counter links in the visible counter displays and the <noscript> tags.
Google only shows a sampling of IBLs with the link: command.
Yahoo! linkdomain: command (http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=linkdomain%3Awww.statcounter.com&sm=Yahoo%21+Search&fr=FP-tab-web-t&toggle=1&cop=&ei=UTF-8) shows 23,400,000 links.
