So here's the deal: I have a blog with some friends, we're monitoring our progress training for our first triathlon..yada yada yada...
I have some "blog buddies" that are going through a rough time with cancer at the moment...we want to set up our blog to accept sponsorhips for our race to donate to the family, or to the American Cancer Society.
We don't have the time/resources to incorporate and become an official non-profit, so, my concern is offering people who donate the opportunity to write the donation off...more importantly, if we make a ton of cash (hopefully), I don't want to get rammed with having to pay taxes on it.
I know this is a "search" forum, but there are some very smart people around here, and I'm looking for a little advice.
