GOOGLE'S MISSION STATEMENT (source Google.com) (http://www.google.com/corporate/)

Google's mission is to organize the world's information
and make it universally accessible and useful.

Watching The Google Factory Tour (http://www.google.com/intl/en/press/factorytour.html), my attention paused to orbit {smile}
around the word "ORGANIZE" in the Google mission statement ...

Organize? Is that what Google does (is doing)?

Before I analyze (if ever) my reasons for hanging on that word
and perhaps change the balance of the universe ;) I'm curious
about how the word "organize" strikes you ... Hence this poll:

[HAIKU SEQUENCE]

When Yahoo! began
it organized "all" web sites.
A DIRECTORY.

(Impossible task.
There's too many web pages.
And they're not static.)

"ORGANIZING" means
fit in past categories.
(Count the pigeon holes!)

What did Google do?
It did NOT organize sites.
It helped you find stuff.

... ... ... ... ...

Ah, but so few vote ...
It seems polls are a rare thing ...
I'll check back next week ...
