Best search engines to find information on people

There is so much information on the web and it is becoming more and more complex to pin point the exact information you seek. What are the best places on the web to find information on people. I would love to find one place where you can find almost any information on people.

Here are a few, just a few, suggestions.


1) Argali.
This free search app (no spyware) simultaneously searches SEVERAL phone directories. I wrote a review for SearchDay.

2) A relatively new "specialized" tool comes from Eliyon.

A couple of free demos.

3) Knowx offers several databases. Fee-based.

4) You'll need to check public record databases. The best directory for these tools comes from SearchSystems.net

5) MANY public libraries offer FREE REMOTE access (no need to go to the library) to Who's Who and Biography Resource Center.

6) Genie Tyburski offers a excellent list of tools on her Virtual Chase site.

7) You can sometimes help find the age of a US citizen via the free lookup from USSearch, also a fee-based service.
