Hello!
I was curious as to the timeline in getting dynamic pages indexed and then having them receive PR. I have a general backend to create dynamic sites with some of the pages static and others (for my clients to create their own pages with whatever content they prefer to add) that have dynamic URL with a modrewrite on them.
Ex:
domain.com/About/default.aspx - static URL
domain.com/UniqueContent/default.aspx/PageID=1234
The pages got indexed very quickly once we had the modrewrite completed.
The PR is slow to be distrubuted. I have heard that it is inherently slow on dynamic sites but was wondering if there is some sort of rhyme or reason to it. The backend is completly the same for all sites yet on "some" sites the interior pages have PR... and on others they don't. Doesn't seem to be a reason. On all the examples that I am looking at they are all doing fabulous for search engines rankings. Their homepages do GREAT! Their interior pages show up if they have good content on them and change the interior meta tags for the specific page. All examples I am viewing have unique content and good backlinks with anchor text.
The modrewrite was completed in February. Before the modrewrite none of the unique 'create your own content' pages were indexed.
Any thoughts? Is it simply slow? Should I keep waiting to view?
Thanks for reading. ;)
