Hi there:

I never had tried the Yahoo! Shopping. I was wondering if anyone here have any experience with it, especially for personal care & beauty porducts. Is it worth the time and money? Any feedback about how to optimize the feed?

Thank you in advance for your time and help

Yahoo Shopping has indexed some of my products without me signing up for anything. But so far, I don't know any companies, that are actually paying for the Yahoo Shopping PPC program.

I believe you are refering to Product Submit. I am using it for one of my e-commerce customers. Most products in Health and Beauty or Sports. Started with $100 about a month ago. Have around 250 products. Have used 1/3 of budget and got 2 sales for a total of about $60. Not impressed with the results, but if after $100 it is ROI positive, we'll continue. I think a real problem we have is that the results page includes paid ads, including our own, and links to Amazon that link to our Amazon store in the Product Submit results. Amazon also sometimes has a paid ad. So, it is possible for 3 to 4 different Yahoo Shopping search results to end up at our store.

I haven't tried many shopping comparison sites, but I've got to wonder how important they can be when they all display paid ads and, for us, Amazon links. I can see in our tracking that we get visitors from shopping sites that click on our paid ad. Froogle has been the big winner in the category for us so far.
