I am a little confused how Inktomi can honor their paid inclusion contracts when they no longer provide listings to the search engines they agreed to contractually.
I signed up lots of pages with the service and this was what came back in the email confirmation:
"Please allow up to 72 hours for your listings with Inktomi to appear in the results for MSN, Hotbot, Overture, and other Inktomi partners. After your web page(s) have been listed in MSN and Hotbot, allow another 24 hours for your online reporting to reflect the new clicks from these sites. Click reporting will be updated daily thereafter."
This was dated 12/23/03, so it would be my understanding that those pages should remain on those search engines for 1 year from that time.
