Google demo search (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=open+in+new+window)

Just noticed this morning that Google SERPs are opening listings in a new window (in IE). Anybody else seeing this? Just seemed to change while I was searching this morning. Here is a sample of the code:
<p class=g><a href=http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;q281679& onmousedown="return clk(this,'res',3)" target=nw>You cannot <b>open</b> a <b>new</b> Internet Explorer <b>window</b> or nothing occurs <b>...</b></a>
This doesn't happen or show up in the code of FF.

Disregard! Somehow my G preferences automagically changed themselves to open in a new window.

PS. I couldn't find a way to deleted this post. Is there a way?

Well I clicked on your link and when I clicked on the SERP mine opened in a new window and my preferences weren't changed. I checked.

That's very weird. I just tried it again (and since I corrected my preference) clicking on a SERP opens in the same window.

I'm also trying to figure how my preference changed in the middle of a search session. One minute it was normal (opens in same window) and the next search it opened in a new window. I tried to check all sorts of things, even rebooted and it was the same (never thought to check the preferences until later). ;)
