Google Toolbar PR - Part 2

Hi,

Last week, I posted a thread about the Google PR of my site showing 0... I got couple of suggestions that this can be just a temporary thing .... I think some other people experienced samething ...and their PR got back to normal after couple of days....

However...I am not sure...I cant see any change in the PR...after 1 week ....anybody knows whether the PR should have been updated by now...could it be something wrong... I cant work out whats wrong... I guess must be somechange in the Google's algo...because site's PR was fine couple of days ago...and just dropped to 0 last week...and no change upto now...

The other weird thing is that some of the internal pages of the site has a PR 2.... which does not make sense... one of the pages is our privacy policy page...and the other one...is a sort of feedback page... I mean how can these be having higher PR than my homepage...

Do you have any ideas/suggestions?

Well. Downloaded the new Toolbar two days ago and today I noticed that the PR reported in the toolbar is certainly different than yesterday. After checking my sites and looking at some competitors, it looks like it is reporting the PR from before the last update. Anyone else see this?

Weird...not sure whats happening...but I guess it would be google doing something.... after 4 weeks of confusion...and nearly drop dead yesterday....when i saw that my no. of indexed pages going down on Google....tonite I noticed that no. of indexed pages has gone up and is abit more stable right now...across some datacentres...and guess what on some datacentres I can see my PR showing as 4 (it was 4 anyway...before it started showing PR 0) .... however its showing PR 4 in only 2-3 datacentres... So am not relieved yet.... these could well disappear tomorrow morning...

Anybody else experience this?

For the moment I am going thru my site see if there are anything in there...which could have made google unhappy.... Haven't found anything as yet... :confused: .... but could well be me looking in the wrong place.... :rolleyes:

Well, If i was confused before....now I am more confused....

Last night, I saw couple of datacentres started showing my site as PR 4... site has been showing PR 0 for all datacentres for the last couple of weeks... So there was me last night...thinking perhaps things will get back to normal soon..... :rolleyes: ..... But guess what just checked the datacentres...and ALL of them are showing PR0 for my site... :eek: .... it seems to sort of getting be recognised by some datacentres as PR 4...and then after couple of hours/days these datacentres showing PR 0 but other datacentres showing PR 4.....

Does anyone have some sort of explanation for this behaviour....

By the way during past 2 days my no. of indexed pages across the datacentres has gone from average of 290 to 332.... I am not sure whether this information is of any help... but the way I see it...is the less indexed pages you have means...there is less of your data in Google...meaning lesser chance of your pages getting Picked to be shown in SERP ....

What is the relevance/importance, if any, of the no of indexed pages that shows across datacentres??
