Brankrupt company's domain name available

I'm actually facing a dilema. I have the opportunity to buy an expired domain name of a former international company which has gone bankrupt, the domain has around 2000 backlinks across the major engines, a substantial amount of which are PR 5 and PR6. My intent would be to build a specialty directory, i've already decided which one, but the problem, of course, is the name itself.

What type of problems do you foresee in such situations, knowing that the name is very well known?

Don't create a directory which looks cheap (like those of the companies which bulk buy domain names). I think most people would be understanding that things change... with these back links you should have a head start, but in the end, you'll need new good contents unless you wnat to slowly slip down the ranking...
