What is the best tool to find your website rankings by keyword in the major search engines?

I know of a few but just wanted to know which ones people think are the best or most accurate.

"Best Tool" would depend on the user of the tool. There are a lot of tools available and some would consider the tools I won't use to be the best. It's a matter of perception, and we all know that perception is reality. Anyway, I use two tools...SEO Elite, and WebCEO...both of which work well for me. Others may insist on Web Position Gold, or some other tool. Again, best tool depends on the user and their own individual preferences.

I've been using Advanced Web Ranking and like it. They claim it does a better job of crawling the search engines by breaking up the searches and sending them through the browser as a user would - it probably takes longer but the search engines probably appreciate it.

Another reason I like it is because it doesn't feature other things like pagebuilding or keyword stuffing tools, etc. which I don't believe in using.

The reason for me asking this question is because I am handling the natural SEO campaign for my company and I want to have a tool to show our search engine ranking before and after I implement my different changes.

WebCEO's ranking page stores the results of the first scan to it's database, and on successive scans, it shows the new results and shows the change from the previous scan...

Advanced Web Ranking does this as well (plus ranking timelines).

I haven't used WebCEO or Web Position gold - it would be interesting for someone to provide the strengths & weaknesses of each tool (if anyone has tried a bunch) so we don't have to use the comparisons on the various tool websites since they, conveniently, leave out some of the major competition in their comparisons, plus they only choose the features that they have.

I've used Internet Business Promoter (IBP) from Axandra, the ranking section is easy to use, replicates real user browsing and does a good job of showing changes in ranking from previous reports.

In the default mode WPG will show you the changes between the current ranking report and the previous one.

There is an option to archive previous ranking reports however.
