Google buys Plaxo

Well, not yet - but surely it can't be long before we see such an announcement.

Like anything, there are those Plaxo-haters out there, BUT there isn't anything quite like it, and a crying need for something like it.

Think of it - Gmail and Plaxo, or a Plaxo-like functionality - something that will allow us to manage our contacts between out ISP e-mail, Gmail, our phone, PDA etc. currently it is a nightmare to keep these up-todate, and to synchronise them.

So, how long Google and Plaxo before you agree on a price - let's get the ball rolling.

Might as well conjecture they will buy LookSmart to obtain Furl. They are indexing Furl saves. Maybe FindWhat for their pay per call accounts since they are integrating some of their listing in the SERPs. Maybe Marchex to get those thousands of juicy keywords the crew there is gobbling up. The acquisition speculation game is always fun.... :)
