Web Design Firm seeks SEO firm to refer clients to

Hello,

I own a web design firm. We have many clients. Some don't yet realize the power of a strong search engine position, and some do.

We don't do SEO ourselves, so we don't really push it. However, we see a strong benefit to everyone if we could offer these services.

We're looking for an SEO firm who has a program in place (or would be willing to work something out with us) for referrals.

Simply, we'd contact all our clients preaching the value of SEO, then turn them fully over to you, "our partner". For this, we'd like to receive some sort of referral credit.

We have several sites of our own that could benefit from SEO. Possibly, in trade for the business we send you, you could perform SEO work on these sites.

We've worked with a few design firms. They just mark up our fees since they are graph based. The clients just pick the optmization plan and you tack on a little extra for profit. You can bill them directly or let us handle it. Either way it's worked good for us :)

We are considering a model where we pay 15% of our standard price to referrers on an ongoing basis.

This means if you refer a a client to use that wants a full time worker billed at $1000 per month, we pay you $150 each month per worker.

Depending on the relationship, we will let some referrers mark up our prices higher than standard rates.
