Google is going to have a search tv show.... hope they have good music in the background... could be a replacement for the stock ticker/MSNBC I watch with a random eye now.
This morning Sergey will be participating in a press conference held by Vice President Al Gore, who is announcing that his television network, formerly known as INdTV, will be renamed "Current."
Google is collaborating with Current to provide them with Zeitgeist-type aggregated information to create a program called "Google Current," which will air in short segments every half hour.
Stories will be covered based on changes in what the world is searching for on Google.
A pilot will be shown (not broadcast) in San Francisco this evening.
Current plans to begin airing later this summer.
Also on Monday, Larry will be participating on a panel with several industry leaders at the National Cable Association meeting in San Francisco.
