Hey guys,
Do any of you by any chance know any good places to eat, and some bars in Boston (MA not UK)?
Any replies very much welcome!

Pravda. Near the Commons.
Legal Seafood is about 2 blocks away, too.

For restaurants I would recommend Franklin Cafe on Shawmut, Grill 23 if you want steak, Union Bar and Grill on Washington St.
For Bars it is really more personal preference. For Irish pubs I like the Burren in Sommerville and the Druid in Central Square. Bukowski's is a good dive if you want to drink beer and eat very cheap food. Haven't lived in Boston for a couple of years but Boston doesnt seem to change too quickly.

I second The Burren in Davis Sqaure, Sommerville (though there's a lot of college kids) and Redbones for soul food, also in Davis Square.
Middle East in Central Sqaure is both good for middle eastern food and live rock music.
None of these places are really what you would call upscale, but they're fun, with tasty food.

Here (http://www.openlist.com/restaurants-browse-boston!) is the Boston page of a very sharp local restaurant search engine. Their engine also powers the Dining section of Boston.com.

If you like Indian food, go to Central Square in Cambridge. There are about a dozen good restaurants there. For tapas the best place is Dali, in Somerville. BTW, they don't take reservations, so be prepared to stand in line to get in. For seafood try NoName on the Fish Pier in Southie or the Barking Crab on Sleeper Street -- both very casual with great food.
Bars depend a lot on your attitude. The Burren and the Druid as mentioned above are both very good (the Druid is in Inman Square though, not Central), if you're into hanging out with art students there's the Model Cafe in Union Square, Allston. It's a dive, but the crowd's pretty cool, and it's open an hour later than most other bars in town.

>a dive.. ~..and it's open an hour later
Goes to the top of my list, qwerty.
Thank you all.
I checked out some of those places and yes, they were fun and tasty as well.. In fact I love Boston. Lir is also a pretty good pub I'd reccomend, its got nice beer and good people, and the music is pretty cool too.
Great weather over there as well, you guys are lucky!
again, your input were much appreciated.
