Conversion Tools for Dynamically Generated Pages

I'm new at this topic, so please excuse me if I have overlooked the answer to my question elsewhere in this forum. A basic question -- what are some good tools/techniques for tracking conversions in a custom-built shopping cart site with dynamically-generated pages? Also, can Google conversion tracking be added to a such a site?
