Competitor Tracking

My company has a direct effect on how some of the large SE do as far as traffic on a daily basis (ie Google has low trafffic, so do we). I wanted to know if there was a way to find out what kind of traffic the big guys are getting on a daily basis? Is there estimated public data somewhere?
