As for Feb/28/2005 Yahoo Spanish (and all country specific yahoo's directories) are not taking Express submissions any more.

For sites in spanish this was a good option. Price was about US$45 (for Yahoo! Mexico) one time only, no recurrent fee as the main Yahoo!.

The worst part is that they are not even taking free submitions anymore. The "suggest a site" url on top of the listings is gone. And they just keep advertising "sponsored results" for their web search.

If you try to go to sponsored results, it does not offer submission into the directory. It offers you to appear only on the web search results (top 3) kindly asking you "how much do you want to spend every month?".

Does it mean that the Spanish directory in Yahoo will not grow any more?
not a single site?

I am sure they will eventually reenable submissions or allow the sites to get submitted to other areas.

Actually, I don't believe that's coming back. Yahoo Directory Changes Listing Method (http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum35/3186.htm) at WebmasterWorld covers how the UK & Ireland & Germany options have gone. UK & Ireland now free submit (http://forums.searchenginewatch.com/showthread.php?t=4432) here covers the same. On our SEW Blog, Yahoo Directory Makes Changes & Further Directory Decline (http://blog.searchenginewatch.com/blog/050308-101342) covers some of the other directory changes, as well.
