If I type mydomain (no .com) into the google search box, I see dozens of references to several of my urls into the results. My urls are inactive, yet the urls of related sites show "clickable" or active. When I click on those active urls and arrive at the site, I look for references to my url as displayed in the search results...none is found. I look at their HTML code and do a search for say "mydomain" and none is found. Question: how come my url is showing up in the SERPS with inactive links and related sites have their links active in the results? No links to my site, no references in their HTML code, but related to my topic? Is this some form of hijacking?

Please help if you can. I would really appreciate your input on this!!!

If its the url in your profile then searching on the site name, it comes up number #1 and it is clickable?

Hi. Thanks for replying. But not it's on another url. I was suspecting a 302 hijack but that might not be the case.

The site in question, i guess I can't post the ulr here - is related to my industry, (foreclosures) the SERPS display one of its 4,300 urls (clickable) and on the top line it shows my (unclickable) url.

So, if I go to the google search box and type in mydomain, i see my url on the SERPS yet in connection with this other site that's not linked to me at all, and their link is clickable. What is my url doing mixed up with their clickable url? That's what's puzzling.

It's hard to get a grasp of exactly what you mean without at least an example. Would you like to PM me the URL and/or searches that show it?

Try putting your domain name in quotes and see if they are still there.
