Please can anybody help me to tell how much time it takes for Google to provide the Conversion Code. It will help me to take time from client accordingly. Does they send you the code immediately as soon as you register yourself a Adwords for CPC campaign.
Also do we need to insert some code at the landing pages as well to check how many clicks we received.

suripooja, as part of the set up process for conversion tracking, you specify some parameters - and then the system generates the appropriate code snippet right on the spot. You or your webmaster then paste this snippet into the code on your conversion page.
If you currently have an AdWords account, there is a link towards the top of Campaign Management pages that will take you to much more information. Just click on the link below the Campaign Management tab that says 'Conversion Tracking'.
Also, here is a link to a fair amount of information regarding Conversion Tracking from the AdWords FAQ:
https://adwords.google.com/support/bin/search.py?query=conversion+tracking&type=f
And there is a module that covers the subject on this page as well.

Hope that gives you what you need. In my opinion, it is a very wise move to use conversion tracking, as it is an important step in being able to track your ROI (Return On Investment).
