POSITION: SEO Executive
Personality traits: Passionate, enthusiastic, positive, sharing, energetic, responsible, knowledgeable, organised
Reporting to: Head of SEO / Account Management / Operations Director
Responsibilities:
1) To help manage all existing SEO accounts, liaising with all relevant internal departments.
2) To retain and develop current accounts building the account and its income and cross selling other services as appropriate.
3) Assist in promoting the GCDM website.
4) Manage and liaise with clients to ensure necessary SEO changes are made.
5) Keyword research for a Client site to determine the most appropriate terms to target.
6) Competitor analysis within the search engines.
7) Link building – Finding appropriate sites and requesting them to link through to our Clients for relevant keyword phrases.
8) Ongoing monitoring of Clients weblogs and search engine placement.
9) Creation of statistics reports for use in monthly presentation to Client.
10) Ongoing maintenance and suggestions for improvement to Client site.
11) Help in development and presentation of documents to Clients.
12) Advising Clients on best possible means to achieve objectives on an ongoing basis.
Experience required:
At least 1years experience working in a digital marketing agency, SEO Company, media owner, or handling in-house digital marketing activities for client side.
Technical knowledge: SEO processes, HTML, JavaScript, Content Management Systems and Web Analytics.
General Knowledge: Understanding of search marketing principles, web accessibility and usability issues.
