A couple of thoughts....

Am I right in thinking that every time Google visits your site it takes a cache, even if content hasnt changed?

Therefore if you note every time Google takes a cache you can see a pattern of when Google is visiting and could maybe pre-empt its next visit? Is there any software/online tool that can monitor this for you?

Once it has visited, are results seen straight away, i.e. if you have made some successful optimisation tweaks, will you jump up the listings as soon as Google has been?

Just want to get my head round a few things. :)

Thanks

No. Google only caches new content.

ok thanks, so the only way to see Googles regularity is your log files?

and once it has visited, are results seen straight away?
