oops, i meant to post this for this job, not for the other one you've advertised. Please accept my apologies. Here is the post again:

although I've seen others ask before, I'm slightly reluctant to ask myself.

is it okay to ask what for the ballpark salary?

or is that HIGHLY inappropriate?

Hello Marz

It is not innappropriate at all to ask about the expected Salary level - rather crucial.

However, and I feel a bit embarrassed to say this, the salary will be very dependent on the experience of the applicant. We are very keen to get someone with a strong background in search and will pay market rate. We also offer medical insurance and share options to team members who are with Cheapflights for more than a year.

I hope this does not sound like an evasive answer but it is a truthful one. I would not want to get anyones hopes up by posting a salary that was too high or putting off strong applicants because the salary range was too low.

Let me know if you want more details. I am happy to converse privately with you about your application for this job.

Kind regards

Hugo
