We are looking for a Webmaster locally in the Boston metro area. Full time. The successful candidate will be a highly personable, ambitious, aggressive, self-starter looking to gain an entry into the high tech advertising industry in an entrepreneurial environment. Opportunity exists for growth within a small management team. The company founded was in 1997 with existing customers, stable revenue and profitability within an exploding industry. You will work closely with the company founders in a management capacity.
Our Webmaster will develop and execute an online strategy, initiate contact with existing clients to develop HTML pages and advertising creatives, identify customers' needs and assist onsite. Much of the work will be HTML with the opportunity to learn SEO as you go.
1. Must live locally in greater Boston MA area.
2. Must demonstrate technical competence & Internet Savvy
3. Must have Computer Science background, or comparable industry experience
4. Must have Web Development Skills (HTML, CGI, JavaScript, ASP, etc)
5. Willingness to join & grow a small entrepreneurial firm w/ irregular hours
6. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
7. Autonomous & Self-Starter Personality (reference freelance work)
8. Be able to work both onsite and offsite on a broadband connection
9. Highly skilled in all Microsoft and Macromedia Products
10. Persons with Freelancing Experience Preferred
11. Please include examples of Web Applications built and marketed.
