Hi guys -

I have a domain name registered through mydomain.com and i have it point to a directory on another domain. so 111.com points to 222.com/folder.

I've read conflicting reports on whether this is a bad practice.. are search engines skipping over domain once they figure out its just pointing to another website, even though the content is different?

Should I spring the extra bucks for another hosting plan i guess is my question...

thanks for any potential help.

Jonathan

My experience has been that the search engines will index such pages, but if the site is important enough to build, surely its important enough to host on its own site.

Thanks for getting back to me. I should really host it on its own. I was looking around tonight and companies host for as little as $5 a month...

I just removed most of the tables from the design too which should help. I would never have thought search engines would be so complicated!

Thanks

Jonathan Morris.
