SEO Copywriter
Edmunds.com, the leading Internet resource for automotive content is seeking an SEO Copywriter. The SEO Copywriter will will assist with the creation and optimization of SEO site copy in pursuit of the company's traffic acquisition objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Support the company's Search Engine Optimization (SEO) efforts by creating and optimizing content to establish keyword density objectives.
• Assist in the company's traffic acquisition efforts by assisting in the creation of effective SEO research copy.
• Support all aspects of the Search Engine Optimization Strategy (i.e., Content, Strategy, Keyword Research and QA).
• Support the Editorial team in creating and editing copy-focused messaging for the site.
Requirements:
• 1-2 years copywriting experience
• 1-2 years SEO experience
• Knowledge of the Internet, Search Engines, Search Engine Optimization, and ROI metrics
• Understanding of on-page and off-page ranking factors and how each Search Engine reacts to these factors.
• Strong software analytical skills (MS Excel)
• Extremely detail & results-oriented
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure, prioritize, and meet deadlines
• Flexible, open minded and solution-oriented with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced Internet environment
• Online copy editing experience desirable
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or Marketing; minor in Business Administration preferred
