Hello friends

Wow. Kind of a general question there...

First, choose your keywords. Choose two or three keyword phrases per page. The more keyword phrases, the better. Obviously.

The first place you need to use the keyword phrase is in the anchor text of internal navigation linking to the page. If the keyword phrase is “Hot Dogs”, link to the page using the anchor text “Hot Dogs”.

Next, place the keyword phrase in the title element of the page:

Keyword Phrase

Next, place the keyword phrase in the heading tags within the body copy:

Keyword Phrase

Third, use the keyword phrase in the body copy of the page:

Acme Widgets is the leading online retailer of [insert keyword phrase] and [second keyword phrase]. We pride ourselves in the quality and price of our [keyword phrase again].

Some search engine optimization practitioners recommend use of the keyword phrase in bold text or italics or both. It may or may not positively impact your search engine placement, but I’d recommend only doing so if it can be done in such a way as to preserve the effectiveness of the copy. Remember, the copy is there to convert prospects into customers.

The Next Step – Off-Site SEO

Get links. Not just a lot of links from one or two sites selling links. In my opinion, you'd be better off getting as many links as possible from as many domains (unique IPs) as possible.

And get links with your keywords in the anchor text.

Anchor text is by far the most powerful tool at your disposal. I'd recommend a reading of:

Cheers and welcome to SEW.

...Hey guys help me out with some other solutions so that I can choose the best one from the pool.

Rather than thinking in terms of individual solutions, I start thinking in terms of an overall strategy that helps reach an objective (s). For me that starts with asking what the primary objective(s) of my site is.

I put these as questions because that's my internal dialogue to facilitate any decision making process. It's also how I work with clients in order to get to the core of what their needs are, so I can help find solutions to get them there.

Is high traffic your primariy objetive? Or is there an objective (s) that you want that traffic to meet? If so, then the kind of traffic you get would be important. That would influence what tactics you might employ to achieve the specific kind of traffic you want/need and give you a way of evaluating any suggestions others have for how to get traffic.

You mentioned "expected traffic". What is that expectation numerically? How did you reach that number? Why do you think that number would be helpful? Once you get that traffic, what do you want visitors to do?

Hello JaneI have read your problem. It is really boring to fill all the information again and again to register a site on different search engine and make the web pages search engine friendly for different search engines. We have many solutions, and I am using trafficsmartz for this. This software may solve your problem. This will register your web pages on different search engines in much less time and you need not to fill up all the information again and again. Also it makes your pages more search engine friendly and increases the traffic. Just check it out on the following link:

Welcome, harycalis, to your first post! I would add some caveats to a recommendation of any software. First, Google and Yahoo! Guidelines indicate they do not like Doorway Pages, especially not autogenerated ones. Also, I really want to have control of what is on my pages so I can adapt and work with them over time to improve them. A software that automatically changes my pages is not a desirable for me.

As for submitting, Google seems to put preference to pages they find from links over what is submitted directly to them. For Google and Yahoo!, having a link to a new page on a page that is already in the index is the best way to get indexed for the new page. Google and Yahoo! powers must of the major search engines so submitting to multiples of other search engines is not necessarily going to drive considerable traffic like Jane was asking about in this thread.
