Hi people, I have been a longtime lurker on the forum and you guys have the best advice. We have been recently dropped from yahoo and I am trying to figure out why. I email yahoo and recieved an email back indicating that I was still violating there Content Policy Guidelines. My website address is qualitymobilevideo.com I would appreciate any help you guys can lend.

I have racked my brain and tried to fix any and all things that I thought were causing it but now I have no idea where to start.

Thank You,

Have you created a bunch of pages targeting different phrases for the sole purpose of trying to either get them listed well in the search engines and/or to run Google AdSense ads? It appears by the pages you have listed at the bottom of your site where it says "Learn more about mobile video categories:" that you have.

If this be the case, that is probably one reason why Yahoo removed your site. We had a client who went through the same thing and when they removed the hundreds of page they had created for the reasons I state above, they were allowed back into the index.

That's a point - is there a general list of Yahoo! addresses available?

If you are inquiring as to what email one should use regarding Yahoo's and their indexing, I use reportsearchspam@yahoo.com. That was good at least a couple of months ago.

I thought doorway pages are allowed? Is there a way that I could possibly redo these pages to comply with there rules? What approach should I take?

Who ever told you that! Doorway pages have been frowned upon by search engines for years.

There is no way you can "redo" them. Rather you should completely "remove" them, and after you have done this, email Yahoo letting them know about the doorway pages and that you have now removed them and request that they re-include your site in their index

Thanks for the advice I didn't know that.
